ACCURACY OF CONTENT
We take reasonable care to ensure that the information, product descriptions and prices displayed on the Lake District Signs website are accurate at the time of publication.
Our products are made using natural materials, including slate. As a result, variations in colour, texture, markings, thickness and appearance may occur between individual products. Images displayed on our website are intended to provide a close representation of our products, but the appearance of the finished product may vary.
ORDERING ERRORS
You can review and correct errors in your order before confirming and submitting payment.

Please note that we may be unable to amend an order once production of a bespoke or personalised product has begun.
DELIVERY
Delivery charges and available delivery options will be displayed during the checkout process.
Any delivery timescales provided are estimates only. While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure your order arrives within the estimated timeframe, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where a signature is required upon delivery, we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes.
RETURNS
If you wish to return an eligible product, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving your order. We will provide you with information about how and where to return the product.
Unless the product is faulty, damaged or has been supplied incorrectly, you will normally be responsible for the cost of returning the product to us.
We recommend obtaining proof of postage when returning an item.
Once an eligible returned product has been received and inspected, we will process the appropriate refund or exchange.
Personalised and Bespoke Products
Because many Lake District Signs products are made to order according to your individual requirements, personalised and bespoke products cannot normally be returned simply because you have changed your mind.
This does not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or has been made incorrectly by us.
CANCELLATION
If you wish to cancel or amend an order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@lakedistrictsigns.co.uk.
Orders for bespoke or personalised products cannot normally be cancelled or amended once production has begun.
If your order has already been dispatched, please contact us for further information about your available options.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER
After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received it.
This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order.
Our acceptance of your order and the formation of a contract between you and Marbletree, trading as Lake District Signs, will take place when your order is dispatched, unless we have notified you otherwise.
We reserve the right not to accept an order where, for example, a product is unavailable, there is an error in the product description or price, we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment or we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
AVAILABILITY
All products are subject to availability.
If a product you have ordered is unavailable, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and provide information about the options available to you.
CHECKING YOUR ORDER
You should inspect your products as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If an item is damaged, faulty, incorrect or missing from your order, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can investigate and resolve the issue.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
PAYMENT
We accept the payment methods displayed on the Lake District Signs website during checkout.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided when placing your order.
All card payments may be subject to validation and authorisation by your card issuer or payment provider. If your payment provider does not authorise payment, we will not be responsible for any resulting delay or inability to fulfil your order.
Ownership of the goods will pass to you once we have received payment in full. Responsibility for the goods will pass to you when they are delivered to you or a person nominated by you.
CONTRACT
When we accept your order, a legally binding contract will be formed between you and Marbletree, trading as Lake District Signs, subject to these terms and conditions.
CANCELLATION RIGHTS
Under UK consumer law, consumers purchasing certain products online generally have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods.
However, this right does not normally apply to goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
As many Lake District Signs products are personalised or made to order, your right to cancel may depend on the type of product purchased and whether production has begun.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
